I gave two talks in May this year! One was at the Society for Freshwater Science annual meeting on my post-doctoral research titled, "How do race and gender influence environmental flows in Florida?" You can view it here on youtube.
The second talk I gave was at inQUEERy: queering the sySTEM, a series of lightning talks on topics at the intersection of science and queer and/or trans identities. I told funny and/or inspiring stories of queer and trans scientists, which can be viewed here on youtube.
I am also linking my PhD defense presentation for folks to view here on youtube. That presentation covers the research I did for my PhD, which includes how diversity and inclusion is encouraged in the Society for Freshwater Science and the impacts of dams on invertebrate community dynamics and population genetics. I also spend some time talking about the power of unions!
